About the Program:

HealthSource of Ohio, our employees, providers, staff, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees are committed to delivering health care services to our patients and working together with our business partners and customers in compliance with all healthcare laws, rules, and regulations. The Compliance Program’s goal is to improve quality of services and keep costs affordable. This goal is accomplished through two aims: prevent/detect/correct health care fraud, waste, and abuse; and incentivize legal and ethical behaviors.

The program accomplishes its goals by providing training, oversight, and support to investigate and mitigate any harm or wrong-doing. It also ensures policies, procedures, and standards are compliant with the law. Every employee, contractor, student, intern, volunteer, and member of the HealthSource of Ohio Board of Trustees has a responsibility for compliance and ethics.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
