  • Even though you may be home, still get up and get ready for the day. Avoid wearing your pajamas all day! This contributes to throwing your body off it’s routine.
  • Pay attention to how you are spending your time each day. What are you actually doing? Is it benefitting you? Or, is it making you feel worse? What can you do to help make your day feel more productive? Set small goals. Maybe today you got dressed for the day and stood outside for a few minutes. That’s a win!
  • Maintain your structure and routine as much as possible.
  • Put a strict limit on screen time, social media, and the news. Many of us are guilty of unstructured, no limit screen time. This isn’t healthy regardless of the COVID19 situation. Research shows that unstructured, unlimited screen time can increase feelings of anxiety, depression, and isolation.
  • Continue getting regular exercise. Find YouTube exercise videos or create a fun “TikTok” dance video with your kids. Or, just get a outside even for a few minutes. Fresh air and sun is always good for you!
