2025 HealthSource Dental Update
The need for preventative and restorative dental services throughout our service area is well-documented and far outweighs the current capacity in the market. To further complicate matters, HealthSource of Ohio is the primary provider of dental services to Medicaid patients in our market due to other dental providers not accepting Medicaid. This in turn has caused us to struggle to meet demand and provide care for our patients that need us most.
Because of the above pressures and to best serve our patients in greatest need, effective 1/1/25, HealthSource of Ohio Dental will only be accepting new patients who have Medicaid. However, we will continue to care for our existing patients that have commercial or marketplace insurance.
Please know that HealthSource of Ohio has made this decision after much thought and consideration.
