HealthSource and UC Health Announce Plans for New 80,000-Square-Foot Medical Office Building

Building the Future of Health Care

HealthSource of Ohio and UC Health are partnering to expand access to care through a new 80,000 square-foot medical office building in Batavia

The space will bring more primary and specialized health services and integrated support services to Clermont County, eastern Greater Cincinnati, communities throughout Southwestern Ohio, creating a regional hub where patients can access a range of services all under one roof to reduce barrier to care and improve patient outcomes. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2028.

The building, which is being developed by HealthSource of Ohio, will house services from both organizations. A groundbreaking is planned for later this month, and site development has started. The project reflects the shared commitment of HealthSource of Ohio and UC Health to advancing access to care, improving community health and addressing the growing demand for health services in one of the region’s rapidly developing areas.

“This space represents a significant step forward in ensuring individuals and families in our community can access the care they need, when and where they need it,” said Dr. Jody Prather, President and CEO of HealthSource of Ohio. “By working together with UC Health, we are strengthening the continuum of care and making it easier for patients to navigate complex health needs.”
HealthSource of Ohio will provide primary care, behavioral health, urgent care, vision and pharmacy services, including a drive-thru, while UC Health will provide specialty care and diagnostic services. The co-location of services is expected to enhance care coordination, reduce wait times and improve the overall patient experience.

“This project represents the shared commitment of UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio to improve life for the communities we serve,” said Cory Shaw, president and CEO of UC Health. “Together, we’re shaping the future of healthcare in Clermont County and beyond by removing barriers so that all can thrive.”

The collaboration represents a shared commitment from both HealthSource of Ohio and UC Health to advance health access across Southwest Ohio.
