I was first introduced to the primary care behavioral health (PCBH) model and working as a behavioral health consultant (BHC) during graduate school clinical rotations and have never looked back since then. Making high quality care accesible to those most in need has always been a professional value of mine and I found that this setting allows me the best opportunity to make this a reality. Furthermore, it allows me to make a difference at the population health level, making the work all that more meaningful and important.
