About This Location

Walk-In Care Hours

HealthSource Bright Local offers walk-in care Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. No appointment is needed, but you’re welcome to schedule ahead to help reduce wait time. Walk-in care is open to everyone, even if you’re not a current HealthSource patient.

Walk-in care is best for new or sudden health concerns, such as:

  • Cold, flu, or sinus symptoms
  • Earaches or sore throats
  • Minor injuries
  • Other short-term illnesses

For follow-up visits, physicals, and ongoing care for chronic conditions like diabetes or asthma, we encourage patients to schedule an appointment.

Location & Overview

HealthSource Bright Local is located in the Wildcat Learning Center at Bright Local Schools, 44 N. High Street, Mowrystown.

The center is open to the entire community and also serves the Bright Local School District as a School-Based Health Center. HealthSource Bright Local is open year-round, including during school breaks.

HealthSource Bright Local is accepting new patients of all ages. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. A discounted sliding fee program is available for uninsured patients.

Family Practice Care

Our family practice (family medicine) clinician provides care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. We offer comprehensive, ongoing care for individuals and families, including:

  • Sick visits and minor injuries
  • Annual checkups and preventive care
  • Care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol
  • Medication prescriptions
  • Ongoing primary care for the whole family

School-Based Health Services

HealthSource Bright Local offers school-based health care for students in the Bright Local School District, making it easier for families to access care close to school.
