How Often Should Your Child See a Dentist?

The American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommend that children see a dentist:

  • By their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth coming in.
  • Every six months for a regular check-up and cleaning.
  • More frequently if they have specific dental concerns, like cavities or orthodontic needs.

Regular visits help prevent tooth decay, monitor oral development, and establish good dental habits early on!
